- Here's just ONE of the many jaw-dropping mentalist effects you can present with the gimmick: A spectator is asked to THINK of any card. While the magician's back is turned, the spectator writes the name of the card on a post-it note, crumples up the note and holds it tightly in his own hand. Then the performer asks the spectator to extend the first finger of the same closed fist and touch any one of a face down spread of playing cards. When the selected card is turned faced up, it is found to be the one the spectator was merely THINKING of!
